1. Off the coast of Cuddalore, a new species of moray eel was found and given the Tamil Nadu name.
◉ A new species of Moray Eel fish was found off the Cuddalore coast of Tamil Nadu by a team of researchers from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
◉ Gymnothorax Tamilnaduensis, after Tamil Nadu, is the scientific name for the new species, which is often known as the “Tamil Nadu brown moray eel.”
◉ Gymnothorax Tamilnaduensis, or Tamil Nadu brown moray eel, is a new species of moray eel fish that was found off the coast of Cuddalore by a team of researchers from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).

◉ The Indian Army and Air Force recently conducted a 96-hour combined exercise called “Vayu Prahar” in the eastern region during the ongoing tensions between India and China at the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
◉ The exercise was designed to create strategies for utilizing both air and ground forces in multi-domain operations.
◉ It was carried out in the second week of March, and its main goal was to improve Army and Air Force coordination for successful operations in a multi-domain battlefield.

6. In Sriharikota, ISRO launches the LVM3-M3/Oneweb India-2 Mission.
◉ LVM3 was successfully launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) from the Sriharikota spaceport for the sixth time in a row.
◉ 36 satellites from the UK-based OneWeb group enterprise were successfully launched into the intended orbits by the rocket.
◉ After a 24.5-hour countdown, the launch was carried out at 9 a.m. from the second launch pad, which is located around 135 kilometers from Chennai.
◉ The SSLV/D2-EOS07 mission in February served as ISRO’s first mission of 2023. This is the 18th launch for the OneWeb Group.
