1. 450 MW are sent to Bangladesh from the Adani power facility at Godda.
◉ The Godda plant of Adani Power supplied 450 Megawatts of electricity to the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB). It was raised even more, to 750 MW.
◉ An unbroken supply for 72 hours at peak load was tested over a 14-day period at the Adani Power facility in Godda, Jharkhand.
◉ To receive energy from the Godda plant of Adani Power, the Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) built a 134-kilometer transmission line from the Chapainawabganj border to the Bogra substation.
2. India publishes the first Dogri edition of the Indian Constitution.

Subby Subramaniam, a person of Indian descent, has been appointed a Warrant Officer in the Royal Air Force of the United Kingdom.

6. Awarded at the 2023 World Vaccine Congress is Bharat Biotech
◉ At the World Vaccine Congress 2023, Bharat Biotech got the “Best Production/Process Development” award as part of the Vaccine Industry Excellence (ViE) awards.

7. Nitya Abraham is given the title of Young Urologist of the Year.
◉ Nitya Abraham, an Indian-American physician, and professor received the American Urological Association’s Young Urologist of the Year Award (AUA).

8. C.R. Rao receives the highest Statistical honor
◉ Noted Calyampudi Radhakrishna Rao, an Indian-American statistician, has won the International Prize 2023 in Statistics, also known as the Nobel Prize of Statistics.
◉ At Ottawa, Canada’s yearly International Statistical Institute World Statistics Conference, Rao will receive the honour, which comes with an $80,000 cash reward.
◉ Three essential conclusions were presented by Rao in his research work, which was published in the Bulletin of the Calcutta Mathematical Society in 1945. These results paved the path for the current discipline of statistics and provided statistical tools that are still widely utilized in science today.

9. Ex KAVACH, a joint military exercise, comes to an end at Andaman and Nicobar Command.
◉ The Army, Navy, Air Force, and Coast Guard participated in the extensive joint military exercise “Ex Kavach” that was carried out by the Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC).
◉ The “Shatrujeet Brigade” of the Army, the Armed Forces Special Operations Division (AFSOD), the Special Forces of the Navy, and the Amphibious soldiers of the Andaman and Nicobar Command all took part in the massive joint exercise.
◉ KAVACH was designed to improve the Military Forces’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and combined warfare capabilities.
