1. In Thiruvananthapuram, PM Modi laid the cornerstone for the first Digital Science Park.
◉ The first Digital Science Park to be built in India had its foundation stone placed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Technocity campus in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
◉ A multidisciplinary cluster-based interactive innovation zone with an emphasis on digital technologies, the 1,500 crore Digital Science Park project is situated next to the Kerala University of ◉ Digital Sciences Innovation and Technology on roughly 14 acres of land.
◉ It will accommodate two structures with a combined space of 2,000 square feet. The first one would have five floors and more than 1.5 lakh square feet of space dedicated to Centres of Excellence, which will include research labs and a digital incubator.
2. India’s first water metro project was inaugurated by PM Modi in Kochi.
◉ The nation’s first water metro, which connects ten tiny islands surrounding Kochi, a port city in Kerala, was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

5. Canara Bank collaborates with the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH) to launch “Digitalised Submission of Form 15G/15H” Canara Bank has announced its collaboration with the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH).
◉ An individual sends Form 15G (Individual and HUF) or Form 15H (Individual-Senior Citizen) to the bank in order to self-declare that TDS should not be deducted from interest income because the individual’s income is below the basic exemption limit.
◉ Many people, especially older citizens, submit their 15G & 15H forms to their banks at the beginning of the fiscal year, particularly in the first few weeks of April.
◉ For the time being, our bank only accepts submission of these forms through online banking or mobile banking, which calls for knowledge of and access to mobile or internet banking.

6. DPIIT secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh assumes leadership.
◉ Rajesh Kumar Singh, a senior IAS officer, has been appointed secretary of the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
◉ Anurag Jain, who was appointed secretary in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, was succeeded by Singh.
◉ Singh worked as the Secretary for the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying before joining DPIIT.

7. The PM’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration is given to the Ministry of Health.
