1. 2023’s Sinthan Snow Festival will take place in J&K
◉ A two-day Sinthan Snow Festival-2023 has been planned by the Directorate of Tourism, Jammu, and Kishtwar Tourism Development Authority (KTDA) in Kishtwar, J&K.
◉ The Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages (JKAACL), the District Administration Kishtwar, and the Army have all worked together to organize the snow festival.
◉ The events during this festival include a bike rally, paragliding, snow kayaking, and many others.
2. The Goa government held a 3-day Heritage Festival.
◉ A three-day legacy festival has been launched by the Goa tourism office to highlight the coastal state’s artistic expressions, dances, and food.
◉ The Goa Heritage Festival brilliantly captures the essence of the living traditions and practices that make Goa so distinctive.
◉ By showcasing the traditions, culture, and arts of the state, the festival seeks to encourage cultural tourism in Goa.

3. Rajasthan Housing Board won a national real estate award.

7. Asia’s top borrower from the ADB is Pakistan.
◉ In 2022, Pakistan will receive the most funding for programs and projects from the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
◉ Out of a total payout of about USD 31.8 billion to 40 countries, Pakistan received loans of USD 5.58 billion, according to the ADB Annual Report 2022.
◉ Pakistan is experiencing a severe economic crisis and last year, Pakistan received USD 2.67 billion in concessional finance from the bank out of a total loan amount of USD 5.58 billion.
◉ However, Pakistan has avoided default by using these loans. These loans came with requirements, including Pakistan receiving loans from the IMF first, which had its own restrictions.
