1. Four projects totaling Rs. 1450 crore are unveiled by Nitin Gadkari in Assam.
◉ Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Highways and Roads, has opened a 4-Lane Section in Assam between Teliagaon and Rangagara and the Nagaon Bypass.
◉ The 1450 Crore projects represent a major investment in the state’s infrastructure.
◉ The minister also lay the cornerstone for the Assamese 4-lane segment between Daboka and Parakhuwa and the Mangaldai Bypass.
2. The ‘Elder Line’ service has been made available by the Uttar Pradesh government in order to provide housing for old people who are homeless.
◉ The helpline’s mission is to rescue elderly people in need and place them in senior living facilities.
