1. PM Modi opens the “Bharat Mandapam” ITPO complex.
◉ The new Bharat Mandapam International Exhibition-cum-Convention Center (IECC) complex in Delhi was opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
◉ At an estimated cost of $2,700 crore, the International Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) complex was built.
◉ The IECC complex, India’s largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destination, with a campus area of over 123 acres.
◉ The recently constructed IECC complex at Pragati Maidan includes a number of cutting-edge amenities, such as a convention center, exhibition halls, amphitheaters, etc.
◉ It is a magnificent architectural wonder built to hold important conferences, conventions, large-scale international exhibits, and trade fairs.
2. Goa will hold the largest national male pageant in the world.
◉ The “The Rubaru” Mr. India competition, the largest national male pageant in the world, will take place in Goa.

3. In Kishtwa, Jammu, Machail Mata Yatra gets underway.
◉ The eagerly awaited 43-day annual Machail Mata Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir starts in the Kishtwar area and ends on September 5, 2023.
◉ The Yatra, which draws millions of pilgrims from all over the nation to the picturesque Paddar valley and the holy shrine of goddess Durga in Machail village after a grueling 30-kilometer trek, is the second most well-known pilgrimage in the Jammu division.
◉ Pilgrims from all around the area will set out on this holy trek to the Machail Mata Temple to seek blessings. The Administration and other interested parties have put extensive plans in place to ensure a secure and easy trip.
4. Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana is approved by the Odisha government.
◉ The Mission Shakti Scooter Yojana, which will give recipients interest subsidies on bank loans up to Rs 1 lakh so they can buy scooters, has been authorized by the Odisha Cabinet, which is chaired by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
◉ Under the new program, about 1,25,000 SHG federation leaders and about 75,000 SHG community support employees will receive benefits.
◉ The State government has budgeted Rs 528.55 crore for the scheme’s execution over the following five years.
◉ A budget of Rs 1001.14 crore has also been authorized by the Cabinet for the expansion of Comprehensive Cancer Services throughout the State with the goal of bringing cancer treatment centers closer to the homes of patients.
5. The 65-year-old retirement age for doctors in Uttar Pradesh
◉ In order to solve the physician shortage, the Uttar Pradesh government raised the retirement age for government doctors from 62 to 65 years old.
◉ A panel was established in January to assess the suggestion to raise the retirement age from 62 to 65.
◉ Currently, 14,000 doctors are employed in the state’s 19,000 authorized positions.
◉ Every month, more than a dozen doctors retire, lowering the strength by at least 200.
6. Atal Beemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana is extended by the government for another two years.
◉ The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation’s Atal Beemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana has been extended by the government for an additional two years, ending on June 30, 2024.
◉ The Atal Beemit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana will be extended from 01.07.2022 to 30.06.2024 with lowered qualifying requirements and increased relief rates.
◉ The program has received three extensions, two of which were granted in 2020 and one in 2021 to help ESIC beneficiaries who lost their jobs because of the epidemic.

10. At the 2023 Junior Shooting World Championships, Kamaljeet won two gold medals.
