1. On Janmashtami, the Maharashtra government will host a “Pro Govinda” League.
◉ In Mumbai, the Maharashtra government will organize the inaugural Pro Govinda League.
◉ On August 31, the Pro Govinda League, which is modeled after the Pro Kabaddi League, will take place.
◉ In Mumbai’s Worli neighborhood, the National Sports Club of India will host the Pro Govinda League.
◉ There would be about 50,000 Govindas present, including 3,500 from Mumbai.

2. NLC India signs agreement to provide 300 MW of solar energy to Rajasthan State-owned NLC India (NLCIL) has signed an agreement to provide 300 MW of solar energy to Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam for 25 years under the CPSU program.
◉ Currently, NLCIL has a 1,421 MW capacity for renewable energy.
◉ According to its corporate plan, it intends to build 6,031 MW of capacity by 2030.
◉ Through competitive bidding, the company was able to secure 510 MW of solar project capacity for the CPSU Scheme Phase-II Tranche-III. This project was floated by the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA).
◉ At Barsingsar in Rajasthan’s Bikaner District, a 300 MW solar project is now being carried out.
3. 9 industrial projects totaling Rs. 873 crore have been approved by the Odisha government.
◉ Nine industrial projects totaling Rs 873.57 crore have been authorized by the Odisha government, and they would provide 251,600 state residents with jobs.

◉ Individual lender Axis Bank has created two loan products that are supported by the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub’s (RBIH) Public Tech Platform for Frictionless Credit (PTPFC).
◉ Totally controlled by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), RBIH is a division of the RBI.
Customers using the platform will be able to apply for unsecured micro, small, and medium-sized company (MSME) loans from Axis Bank as well as the Kisan Credit Card (KCC).
◉ Both goods will only be available digitally, with no paper forms for clients to fill out.
Kisan Credit Cards will be made accessible to clients in Madhya Pradesh as a pilot program and would initially cost up to Rs 1,60,000.
