1. Telangana will see a Rs12,400 crore investment from the Adani Group.
◉ Under the leadership of its chairman, Gautam Adani, the Adani Group has declared plans to invest a total of Rs 12,400 crore in Telangana over the next several years.
◉ Over the next five to seven years, Adani Enterprises Ltd. (AEL) will invest more than Rs 5,000 crore in a 100-MW data center that will run on renewable energy.
◉ AEL will collaborate closely with regional start-ups and micro, small, and medium-sized businesses to build a network of globally capable suppliers for the project. It would give 600 people both direct and indirect jobs.
◉ To establish two pump storage projects (PSPs)—850 MW at Koyabestagudem and 500 MW at Nacharam in the State—Adani Green Energy Ltd. (AGEL) will invest more than Rs 5,000 crore.
2. India’s New Classical Language: Farsi
◉ The announcement by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar that Farsi (Persian) will be one of the nine classical languages taught in India as part of the New Education Policy is a major step toward strengthening cultural connections.

4. Parshotham Rupala initiates the Vizhinjam Artificial Reef Project
◉ Parshotham Rupala, the Union Minister of Fisheries, has started the project of putting artificial reefs in the seabed in Vizhinjam, Thiruvananthapuram.
◉ The project, a cooperative effort between the Central and State governments, intends to boost the local fish population to raise fishermen’s revenue.
◉ With a total budget of 13.02 crore, the project is being carried out under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana. The Central Government is contributing 7.812 crore, and the State Government is contributing 5.208 crore.
◉ The Central Marine Fisheries Research Institute provides technical help to the Kerala State Coastal Area Development Corporation in the project’s implementation.

◉ According to Brand Finance’s 2024 Global 500 IT Services Ranking, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is the second most valuable IT services brand globally.
