10. The government has relaxed the listing requirements for companies with a market capitalization of more than Rs 1 lakh crore.
- With the recent revision to the guidelines, companies with a market capitalization of more than Rs 1 lakh crore at the time of listing can now sell only 5% of their shares, a move that will benefit the government during the projected LIC initial public offering.
- In two years, such entities must expand their public shareholding to 10%, and in five years, they must increase it to at least 25%.
11. HFCs with assets over Rs 100 crore are permitted to use the SARFAESI law, according to the Finance Ministry.
