SSB Interviews
Bidyasagar Classes has the best & trained faculty for SSB Interview. SSB (Service Selection Board) is an organization which is set-up by the Ministry of Defence, India. Service Selection Board is the body that schedules, organizes and conducts the SSB Interview of the candidates applying for Indian Armed Forces. SSB screens the candidates for the Army, Navy and Air Force. Apart from regular entry into the Armed Forces, there also exists a special entry called ACC (Army Cadet College) which helps the serving soldiers from the regular Army for commission as Officers in the Indian Army. Post clearing the written examination the successful candidates appear for SSB Interview and medical tests. Cadets Academy provides SSB Interview coaching for ACC candidates as it helps them in understanding the complete procedure. SSB Interview is a five day long procedure which includes two stages of testing as stage I & stage II. This procedure is organized at various SSB Centres (as designated by SSB). SSB Interview also includes Intelligence & Personality Test.
Candidates applying for the Army, Navy and Air Force have to secure the minimum qualifying marks separately in Written Test & Personality Test. Candidates applying for the Air Force also have to qualify the Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS) & Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) separately.
PABT is applicable for the candidates whose First choice is Air Force. PABT is also organized for all SSB qualified candidates with one of the choices as Air Force. Candidates have to qualify one of the exams for undergoing the SSB Interview. The exams are:
- National Defence Academy & Naval Academy examination (NDA & NA Exam).
- Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE).
- Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT).
SSB Interview will be scheduled for the successfully qualified candidates in the above mentioned exams. It is necessary for all qualified candidates to appear in the SSB Interview for final selection. The final selection will be made on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in examination & SSB Interview. Candidates have to report for SSB Interview on the date intimated to the candidates in the call letter for interview. The SSB interview consists of two stages i.e. Stage I and Stage II. Stage I comprises of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) and Picture Perception & Description Test (PP & DT). Candidates who clear Stage I are eligible to appear for Stage II. Stage II comprises of Interview, Group Tasks, Psychology Tests and Final Conference. This test will be organized over a period of 5 to 6 days. Entire process will carry 900 marks.
