1. BPCL teamed up with Microsoft to accelerate digital transformation.
◉ Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) and Microsoft have formed a strategic cloud relationship to accelerate the oil and gas industry’s digital transformation.
◉ The agreement will help BPCL’s ‘Project Anubhav’ digital transformation initiative get off the ground.
2. ‘SVANidhi se Samriddhi’ was introduced by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
◉ In addition to 126 cities across 14 states and UT, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has started the ‘SVANidhi se Samriddhi’ program.

4. Climate action grants of $2.2 million have been announced by the UNDP and AIM for innovators in 19 countries.
◉ The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and AIM partners have granted $2.2 million in climate action grants for 22 local entrepreneurs from 19 countries, including India.
◉ The money will come from the Adaptation Fund Climate Innovation Accelerator (AFCIA) program.
◉ The first round of funding will support local climate action and help to meet the Paris Agreement’s and Sustainable Development Goals’ ambitions.

7. CPI-based In March, retail inflation reached 6.95 percent, the highest level in 17 months.
◉ The National Statistical Office (NSO) reported that India’s retail inflation rose to a 17-month high of 6.95 percent in March, up from 6.07 percent the previous month, mainly to a strong increase in food costs.
◉ For the third month in a row, retail inflation as measured by the Consumer Price Index (CPI) has remained above the top limit of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) tolerance zone. In January 2022, retail inflation was 6.01 percent.
8. Nagaland will get a $2 million project readiness financing credit from the Asian Development Bank for the development of urban infrastructure.
◉ On April 12th, 2022, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of India signed a USD 2 million Project Readiness Financing (PRF) Loan.
