IBPS PO Recruitment 2021
Every year, a Common Written Examination (CWE), often known as the IBPS PO exam, is held to hire Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainees (MT). The CWE was first held in 2011 and is now being held for the tenth time this year, hence the official name IBPS PO/MT CWE XI 2021. The IBPS PO selection process is divided into three phases (preliminary, mains, and interview), and candidates must pass each one to advance to the next. The following are the key steps in the IBPS PO Recruitment Process:
Online Preliminary Examination
IBPS shortlists a sufficient number of candidates in each category based on the prerequisites for the Online Main Examination.
Online Mains Examination
To be eligible for an interview, candidates must score above the sectional and overall cutoffs on the main exam.
Interview
The Participating Organizations will conduct the interviews, which will be organized by the Nodal Bank in each State/UT with the support of IBPS.
Final Result
The final result is determined by the combined performance of applicants in the IBPS PO Mains and Interview Rounds.
Provisional Allotment
- The qualified candidate’s provisional allotment is published on the official website. Candidates’ preferences expressed throughout the online application process are used to determine which IBPS banks they will be assigned to.
- Only until the provisional assignment to different banks does IBPS play a role in the selection process. Following that, it is the responsibility of the different banks to notify qualified candidates of their joining dates and procedures.
- In recent years, public sector banking has been a prestigious career choice since it offers a competitive income, benefits, job security, rapid growth, and a solid work-life balance. Personnel Selection Services (PSS) was established by the Indian government in 1975 to hire probationary officers and clerks for all public-sector banks. PSS was renamed Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in 1984, in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India’s mandate (RBI).
