1. Dairy products are now included in the TMA scheme for Specified Agriculture Products.
- In 2019, the Department of Commerce (which is part of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry) launched the ‘Transport and Marketing Assistance (TMA) for Specified Agriculture Products Scheme.’ TMA’s goal was to help with the international component of freight, lowering freight costs for Indian agricultural exporters.
- The Department has now announced the ‘Revised Transport and Marketing Assistance (TMA) for Specified Agriculture Products Scheme’, which will apply to exports made on or after April 1, 2021 and ending on March 31, 2022.
2. In Ahmedabad, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates Sardardham Bhavan.
- On September 11, 2021, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi used video conferencing to open the Sardardham Bhavan in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

- The high-level foreign and defence ministerial dialogue will strengthen comprehensive defence and strategic cooperation between the two countries, notably in the Indo-Pacific region, in the face of China’s growing military ambition.

- Ujjivan Financial Services has named Sanjeev Barnwal as its new chief executive officer (CEO). Ujjivan Small Finance Bank’s holding company is Ujjivan Financial Services.
- Carol Furtado, who was previously the CEO of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, has been replaced.
6. Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti has chosen Vijay Goel as Vice Chairman.
- Former Minister of the Union Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti has chosen Shri Vijay Goel as Vice-Chairman (GSDS). It was here that Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, was assassinated.
- In September 1984, the Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti (GSDS) was established as an autonomous entity. It operates with the Ministry of Culture’s help and advice, as well as financial support. It is situated in the city of New Delhi.
7. G C Murmu has been elected as the Chairman of ASOSAI for the years 2024-2027.
- India’s Comptroller & Auditor General (CAG) G C Murmu was elected Chairman of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions’ Assembly (ASOSAI).
- Mr. Murmu was chosen to the position by the 56th governing board of ASOSAI during the 15th Assembly of ASOSAI on September 07, 2021.

- Yahoo has appointed Jim Lanzone as its new chief executive officer (CEO) effective September 10, 2021.
- Jim Lanzone was the CEO of the dating service Tinder at the time.

- Since 2011, the United Nations Day for South-South Cooperation has been marked on September 12 every year to commemorate the economic, social, and political progress made by regions and governments in the south in recent years.
- “South-South cooperation: solidarity in favour of a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable future” is the theme for 2021.
