1. The Centre has formed a team to recommend an alternate model for the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana; Ritesh Chauhan, the PMFBY’s CEO, is the head of the panel.
- The Indian government has formed a working group to come up with alternative sustainable, financial, and operational models for the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY), which would be implemented starting in Kharif 2022.

2. The NITI Aayog has teamed up with ISRO to launch India’s first geospatial energy map.
