1. In Himachal Pradesh, the world’s highest electric vehicle charging station was inaugurated.
- Kaza, in the Lahaul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, now has the world’s highest electric vehicle (EV) charging station at 500 feet.
- In order to create a sustainable environment, the EV charging station was opened.
2. Assam plans to build a tea park at Chhaygaon, Kamrup district.
- In the Kamrup District of Assam, a tea park is being established.
- Under one roof, this tea garden will have rail and port connections, cargo and warehousing amenities, processing facilities such as tea grinding, blending, packaging, and other utility services.
3. The government of Uttar Pradesh plans to build an electronic park on 250 acres near Jewar Airport.
- According to Yeida CEO Arun Veer Singh, the Uttar Pradesh government will establish an electronic park in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (Yeida) area, which is projected to attract a 50,000 crore investment.

- The International Astronomical Union has named a crater on the Moon’s South Pole after Matthew Henson, a Black man who was one of the first to stand on the summit.
- The Henson Crater, located between Sverdrup and de Gerlache craters in the Moon’s South Pole, is in the same region where NASA’s Artemis programme hopes to place the next generation of lunar explorers.

12. Telangana’s government has signed an agreement with Wingsure to provide farmers with AI-driven tailored insurance and consultancy services.
- The Telangana government has reached an arrangement with Wingsure, an SRI International insurtech spin-off.
- Wingsure will supply small, underserved farmers in the state with deep-tech-based customised crop insurance products and consultancy services as part of the arrangement.

13. India has signed a contract to buy 56 C-295MW transport planes.
- The Indian Air Force has secured a contract with Spain’s Airbus Defence and Space Company to purchase 56 C-295MW transport aircraft. The contract was signed by the Ministry of Defense and Airbus Defence and Space. Airbus Defence and Space also signed an Offset Contract with the company.
- The introduction of the C-295MW will mark a significant step forward in the modernization of the Indian Air Force’s transport fleet. The 56 C-295MW transport planes are equipped with cutting-edge technology and will replace the IAF’s ageing Avro transport planes.
14. According to a research from the United Kingdom, India would become the third largest importer by 2050.
- According to a report provided by the UK’s Department of International Trade, India might become the world’s third-largest importer by 2050. By 2050, the country will be the third-largest importer, behind China and the United States, with a 5.9% share of global imports.
- India is currently ranked ninth on the list of the world’s major importers, with a share of 2.8 percent. According to the Global Trade Outlook report, the country would rise to fourth place on the list by 2030, with a 3.9 percent stake.
