1. In FY22, the Centre has reduced the Mudra lending target to Rs 3 trillion.
- The government has set a target of Rs 3 trillion for loan disbursement under the PM Mudra Yojana (PMMY) for 2021-22. (FY22).
- This year’s goal is lower than last year’s. The objective for FY21 was set at Rs 3.21 trillion.
2. “Biotech-PRIDE” is a publication by the Union Minister of Science and Technology.
- The “Biotech-PRIDE (Promotion of Research and Innovation via Data Exchange) Guidelines” were released by the Union Ministry of Science and Technology. The Department of Biotechnology created the Biotech-PRIDE Guidelines (DBT).

3. Bhubaneswar has become India’s first city to get 100% vaccination against covid-19.

7. For small shops, HDFC Bank has launched the ‘Dukandar Overdraft Scheme.’
- HDFC Bank, India’s largest private lender, has established the ‘Dukandar Overdraft Scheme,’ an overdraft facility for small retailers to help them deal with cash flow problems.
