1. Amit Shah announces the launch of the ‘Ayushman CAPF’ health card.

2. Covaxin from Bharat Biotech has been approved by the WHO for emergency use.

- Congresswoman Carolyn B Maloney of New York has introduced legislation to make Diwali a national holiday in the United States. The Deepavali Day Act was introduced in the House of Representatives by the member.
