OSSTET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
General Eligibility
He or she must be a citizen of India.
Ability to Read and Write Odia
The candidate must be able to communicate in Odia both orally and in writing. Any one of the following qualifications will be considered in determining the candidate’s ability.

| TGT (Science – PCM/ CBZ) | Bachelor’s degree in science with honors/optional/Elective/Pass in any two of the disciplines (PCM) or (CBZ) from a recognized institution and Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) from an NCTE-accredited institute. OR, Four years integrated degree in B.Sc.B.Ed from a recognized institute in PCM in CBZ as honors/optional/Elective/Pass with a minimum of 50% marks. |
| TGT Arts | Any two (English, Odia, Hindi, and Sanskrit and History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Landmarks in Indian History, Indian Geography, and Indian Polity) as optional/honours/elective/pass with a minimum of 50% marks from an NCTE-accredited institute. OR, A bachelor’s degree in any two of the subjects from the arts or commerce ( English, Odia, Hindi & Sanskrit, and History, Geography, Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy, Landmarks in Indian History, Indian Geography & Indian Polity). |

| Classical Teacher – Telugu | Bachelor’s degree in arts with Telugu with 50% marks in aggregate alongside B.Ed. |
| Classical Teacher – Sanskrit | A bachelor’s degree in/with Sanskrit as an optional/honours/elective/pass subject and a Siksha Shastri (Sanskrit) degree from a recognised institute are both required. |
| Physical Education | Candidates must have obtained a B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed/C.P.Ed from a recognised board or university, as well as a B.P.Ed/M.P.Ed/C.P.Ed from a recognised board or university. |
