Meaning (English): ill or needing care

Meaning (Odia): ଅସ୍ଥିର,ଅଦୃଢ଼

Use: She was too elderly and infirm to remain at home.

Synonyms: weak, watery, infirm

Antonyms: capable, mighty, able-bodied


2-Derogatory


Part of Speech: Adjective

Meaning (English): showing strong disapproval and not showing respect

Meaning (Odia): ଅପମାନଜନକ

Use: He made some derogatory comments about her appearance.

Synonyms: derogative, derogatory, disparaging

Antonyms: laudatory, flattering, kindly
