1-Ephemeral


Part of Speech: Adjective

Meaning (English): lasting for a very short time.

Meaning (Odia): କ୍ଷଣିକ

Use: Most newspapers are of ephemeral interest.

Synonyms: Temporary, Short-lived

Antonyms: long-lived, everlasting


2-Blatant


Part of Speech: Noun

Meaning (English): done openly and unashamedly.

Meaning (Odia): ନିନ୍ଦନୀୟ

Use: It was a blatant lie.

Synonyms: flagrant, glaring

Antonyms: inconspicuous, subtle


3-Clampdown


Part of Speech: Noun

Meaning (English): sudden restriction on activity.

Meaning (Odia): ଜାବୁଡ଼ି ଧରିବା  

Use: There are signs that a clampdown is coming.

Synonyms: suppression, prevention

Antonyms:  freedom, advantage

Meaning (English): kill, destroy, or remove a large percentage or part of.

Meaning (Odia): କ୍ଷୟ

Use: You meant to let the royal blood, and to decimate the nobility of India.

Synonyms: annihilate, exterminate

Antonyms: build, create
